Early this year I found myself in a place I never expected to be at 60 years old. I made a call to an old friend and very respected Attorney in town, hoping he would represent me. After listening his advice was to hire Jen Brumley, so I sat up a consultation with her. When we first met, my emotions were very raw and I was doing a lot of blubbering. Jen sat there, listening in a very caring way and when I was finished, I think I wanted a hug or something to make me feel better. I didn't get the hug, we later laughed about that, but what I did get was a straight shooter that explained the law to me and let me know what the process would look like should I hire her firm. Once we handled the paperwork and retainer, Jen was off to work and my anxiety level definitely went to a more manageable level. Jen and her amazing group of Associates kept me fully informed throughout the entire process, which for me ended in a mediation. It was at the mediation where I actually got to spend some time with Jen while I watched her work her magic. It was clear from the start that I had the correct attorney and there was no doubt she was going to get me the fairest outcome available, which is exactly what she did. Once that was over, I was a little concerned over that the final bill would be for the services of their firm. I worked for a very large law firm for over a decade and I know how billable hours work. What I received from Amendola, Doty and Brumley was the fairest invoice I have ever seen. I was charged for exactly what was done on my behalf and not one penny more. It's very easy to add a fraction of an hour here and there when doing billing sheets and I saw absolutely none of that. I received the best representation I could have possibly asked for at a very fair price which made this a win-win. I actually received a very nice refund of my original retainer fee. Bottom line, if you want the very best if your corner in a family law situation, Jen Brumley and the amazing folks at AD&B and where you want to be. If you want a hug, find a friend or get a puppy.
