I used Peter Smith to handle a large real estate transaction for me in North Idaho. He came highly recommended and I can see why. He handled everything for me very efficiently and in a concise manner. His knowledge of the local market and people were very beneficial.

We had an encroachment issue with our neighbors that had built on our land. Michael helped us get paper work squared away and protect us from not losing our land. I’m grateful for their professional help. I definitely recommend smith and Malek!!

I enlisted their services in June, 2019, on a boundary/easement dispute. Meetings/e mails continued and I finally met with their litigator who explained costs and stages of litigation to expect if I wanted to continue to pursue the action I initiated. I said I understood and wanted to continue. I received a letter from the litigator I met with in August that said since the lawsuit was continuing, Smith and Malek would no longer be able to represent me due to not having the “capacity” to do so. Referrals were suggested, but after being current with my statements and accepting all their recommendations, I feel I was charged to pursue actions that were never further pursued. No money was returned. If you become a client, make sure you get a guarantee that they will not end your relationship because of the lack of “capacity”.
