Had an awful experience with this lawyer. She is a poor communicator. She over charges. She put me on the back burner, and admitted to it. She was more friendly, and listened more before she was hired. She was not open about what she thought the case would cost. She charged to do work that she had to do a second time, when it should have been done correctly the first time. I communicated my desires, she nodded and agreed, and then created a modification to my parenting plan that was not what we talked about. Then all communication that took place in order to rewrite the modification was charged for. She is not clear and concise. I spoke with a friend about my experience months later, who said that she also had Kacy as her first attorney in her child custody case, before switching, and said that she disliked her and that she was lazy. While dealing with her as my attorney, I had spoken with a mediator who had mentioned that she had heard that another person had issues with her over charging them as well! The itemized bill was not specific either. I find her untrustworthy. Stay clear of this attorney! When dealing with legal issues an attorney should provide some relief, not cause more stress.
