On Thursday, May 7, 2014, a Madison County jury unanimously acquitted Darren Helm of resisting or obstructing officers, because he refused an order of Officer Wynn Robison to un-boot a car before being paid the unbooting fee. Darren, through his attorney, Allen Browning, stated he was pleased with the verdict, as he was just doing his job when he was arrested for refusing to obey an illegal order from the officer. I had a lawyer for a defamation case against me.
