Tessa is a no nonsense kind of lawyer but has always been respectful and kind to everyone, even when they are not deserving of it. Tessa has worked diligently on my case for nearly two years now and has done everything in her power to help me protect my son. I would recommend Tessa to anyone!

I have had an ongoing custody battle for several years. Through this entire process i have always felt that the attorneys on both sides wanted to just find a resolution and settle the case regardless of what was in the best interest of the child. Its extremely frustrating when you, as a parent know what is in the best interest of your child, but the professionals that you hire to represent you seem to be completely numb to your feelings and frustrations. It's just a bunch of expensive paperwork back and forth that, at the end of the day gets you absolutely nowhere. I spent months looking online for a new attorney that i thought i may feel a connection to, that would, not just listen, but actually hear what i was saying and truly understand my concern. Late one night i came upon Tessa's webpage and read through her profile. There were so may things in her page that reached out to me. I was taking a huge gamble by switching to a new attorney that was unfamiliar with my case, but i called and met with her anyway. She was not an average attorney in a huge office that charged me hundreds to tell her my story that she's probably heard several times. I was very comfortable and felt as if i was talking to a friend right away. I immediately hired her and i felt confident in her. There were periods of time i did not hear from her, but instead of being concerned i was more relived that it wasn't constant emails and phone calls, so that i could actually go about my busy life and not be 100% consumed in this process that seems to never end. I have been through a trial before and i was by no means unsatisfied by my previous attorney's argument and the outcome, but i can honestly say that when Tessa made my argument and presented my case, she did it with everything she had heard me tell her and delivered the message just as good as i could have. There is no one that can argue a case better than a parent, but i'm here to tell you that Tessa did exactly what i have been searching for. She is easy to be around, but also has an aggressive side to her that i have been searching so long for. I wasn't looking for someone that acted as if they wanted to be friends with the opposing party, i was looking for someone to see what the real reason we were there for was and to deliver that message to the judge and Tessa did just that. I cannot thank her enough for her hard work and as ridiculous as this sounds, she is the only attorney i have ever had that i DONT have an anxiety attack when i open my bill from her. She has been more than fair with me and she worked for every dollar she billed me for. She has a client for life and with the nature of the opposing party its exactly that. Thank you Tessa!

I had a very difficult case. Tessa fought for me but above that her concern was the safety and well being of my children. She not only advocated but absolutely gave it her all. She is honest, hard working and professional. I would recommend her and already have. Tessa Bennett is going to be a name that gets things done. My custody case is still on going at this points in time. It has been a very nasty case. I actually consulted with multiple other lawyers , none of which would take the case. Tessa has always been timely about responses and completing all the legal paperwork needed. She definitely knows her stuff. She never hesitates when you have questions or concerns about the process. She wants what is best for the child which has been wonderful.

Tessa was a great attorney. We went into a custody battle with my husband's ex-wife trying to get joint legal custody with a son that was my husbands and a son that my husband had raised that was not his biological child. Tessa helped my husband to gain joint custody of both children and have the law recognize that the youngest son was his. Because of her hard work we will never have to worry about losing the younger child like the threats previous to court. It just so happens that during the custody battle, the ex-wife also decided to commit a crime to try to throw my husband in jail showing that he had done things that he hadn't done. Tessa was patient and helped us not only through the child custody case but was a great help and support through the ex-wife's criminal case as well. She also fought to get our attorney fees repaid to us by the ex-wife. If it wasn't for Tessa's hard work and commitment to our case we wouldn't have our family complete and whole again. She is the reason there have been many happy memories made since this horrible ordeal. If you want an attorney that really cares on an individual level you should hire Tessa. She is great.
