We engaged Atty Nichols in order to obtain an opinion about the purchase of a property located in Idaho by a trustee. We needed information regarding the ownership by the trust, payment of various expenses, leasing requirements, use of a mortgage, and proper indemnification, all within the context of the community property statutes of Idaho. We had a very short time frame within which to work. Atty Nichols responded exceedingly promptly. He provided accurate, concise answers, and explained the impact of each of these issues on community property law. He also drafted a document to protect the trust. When additional facts came to light that changed the circumstances surrounding the purchase, Atty Nichols again responded very promptly and explained how to address the matter. He also provided additional advice regarding potential future issues which we had not considered. We especially appreciated his foresight in addressing these matters. An attorney who can take the time on short notice to provide extensive advice to a new client is unique. An attorney who can make what appears to be a very complex issue clearly understandable by communicating at the client's level of understanding is rarer still. We hightly recommend Attorney Nichols.
