R Finegan is awesome! Very quick to respond and answers all the questions!!

Phil Finegan is hands down the best attorney in McLean county if not all of Illinois. If you need an attorney, you need Phil! He reunited my family and beat the case. Highly highly recommend.

Was recently referred here by another firm, and worked with Rob Finegan on a real estate transaction and some additional paperwork. Was very pleased with how responsive he was, and he was willing to accommodate needs for minimal contact and exposure. Plan to use in the future and recommend Rob to others. UPDATE 7/31/2024 - we just completed the sale of our home, and again used Rob Finegan. Our sale encountered multiple complications, which Rob provided his services to deal with. He drafted an early occupancy agreement, negotiated a contract release, and utilized power of attorney to represent us at closing. Through it all his fee remained the flat fee quoted up front - a real value. I strongly recommend Rob.

over the past 7+ years I have learned a great deal about what to do and not to do when facing a divorce. The first thing is not assume that all law firms are the same. The second is not simply believe that any attorney you hire is looking out for your best interest. I spent several years paying legal representation with absolutely no progress. In fact both previous firms told me that my divorce was going to be difficult and would to to trial as my wife had hired the most uncooperative and difficult attorney in the state! They simply seemed to give up and not try to represent my position or move forward. Finally I contacted Mr. Adam Ghrist. He also said that the opposing council was the most difficult and uncooperative attorney, but he knew how to handle the case and most importantly said "he would be honored to help me with my case". I cannot tell you the feeling of relief when I heard those words and felt they were genuine. it only took a couple of weeks after hiring Mr. Ghrist that things that had been stagnant for years started to move. Within 8 months of hiring Mr. Ghrist, my divorce was finalized without going to trial. Once Mr. Ghrist took over the case the opposing council instantly started to be cooperative. This can only be due to the fact that the "difficult and uncooperative" apposing attorney was now up against someone that they could not intimidate and bully! I cannot express the world of difference between the attitude that Mr. Ghrist and Natalie of Finnegan, Rinker and Ghrist and my two other law firms! They were informative, friendly, helpful and most importantly responsive. They got right on it to move the case forward to conclusion. I cannot thank them enough. Absolutely the best!
