I have complete confidence in Kimberly, she is by far the best attorney that I have hired...and I have used a few. She is the only one that actually saw my ex for who he is, saw exactly what my situation needed, and she got it done! I have asked 2 previous attorney's and my issue was never resolved. Kimberly is very knowledgeable and she speaks the truth. She contacted me any day, any time, in order to get the information she needed, I felt she was very attentive in that way. I am very grateful to her in finally handling my case properly. She will never steer you wrong, she will always give you the truth and the facts. I was referred to her from another happy client! Kim is an absolute bombass attorney! After I was dragged into my partners custody case by her bitter baby mama, I mean ex-husband, Kim represented me for an unwarranted order of protection. Kim was confident, detailed, and responsive while handling my case. Kim was able to get me some bombass results and the case was dismissed.

Kimberly is a knowledgeable, kind and compassionate attorney. I had an extraordinarily difficult case due to behavioral health issues related to parties involved. I am grateful for her patience and compassion. She was also kind enough to work with me concerning my difficulty with paying fees. She managing the services well and do not charge for every little detail.

This lawyer was awful. She ran through my retainer without anything towards my actual case being done. I asked her to meet in person with out side to discuss kids schedule & she refused to try. She came back from pre-trial with a poor outcome & claimed she would be talking to the judge about me when in court on other matters. Not a lot professionalism. I heard she is fine for animals or cs…. But please do not use her in your child’s parenting plan. Your kids are worth someone that cares about children & can meet in person to support a plan… this is not that lawyer. I believe I saved my kids childhood by not continuing with her. She also gave me a day to respond on a very serious matter. When I told her I wanted more time she told me that she has special needs kids & that I can read after my kids go to bed. She does not respect that other people put time & care into decisions for their kids. Very untrustworthy to put unnecessary pressure on clients. The only positive I can say is about Liz who works with Kim. Liz understands parents that care… Kim does not.

Kimberly is an exceptional lawyer. Bright, tenacious and unerring. I went through a contentious divorce, and Kimberly was an absolute asset, who refused to relent to any outside force. Simply, she refused to waiver or give up. I cannot say enough, or recommend her more highly. Just a wonderful person, and an absolutely incredible lawyer.

I walked with one of our parishioners through an extremely contentious divorce that took over one year to conclude. Kim persevered, was always encouraging and worked doggedly to advance the case despite non-response on the part of the respondent and his lawyer. She structured a good settlement when there were very few assets to work with and high debt on both parties. Despite the length and amount of work on the case, she lived within her estimated quote for fees. She is simply the finest advocate in family law I’ve ever run across and I recommend her without reservation to anyone who needs an excellent lawyer.

I retained Ms. Backman to assist with my child support case last year. I had a rather unfortunate experience with my previous lawyer who I'd been working with for almost 1.5 years. Kim was able to get up to speed on my case within a week of being retained and closed my case in my favor within a month. She is extremely thorough and communicates very timely. She also argued my case quite effectively, the judge who heard the arguments commented on it twice when he was informing us of his decision. I highly recommend her services to anyone in a similar situation.

I would highly recommend Kimberly Backman. My case has been difficult and time consuming however she has remembered details and put some much into my case while providing me accurate information and reasonable rates! I would not want to ever be against her in court!
