Recently dealt with a pretty serious charge that could've thrown off my whole life trajectory. Spoke to several lawyers in the area, all of whom tried to scare me into paying 4k-10k for their services before the charge was filed. Mr. King, however, spoke to me honestly and clearly about my options. He explained that while he absolutely could help me during the pre-filing period, he doubted that the case would get charged after looking at the police reports and allowed me and my family to make the decision on whether to hire him in pre-filing or to wait to see if the case would be charged. In doing so, he saved me thousands of dollars (that could've went to his firm) and still got me the best possible outcome (the case was dropped). On top of that, he seemed more knowledgeable and had better connections at the courthouse than the other attorneys I consulted. Good lawyers are hard to find in Champaign. Honest lawyers who genuinely care about you and not just your money are hard to find in America. Brian King is both. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of legal counsel in or around the Champaign area.

I recommend Brian 10 times out of 10. He was very informational and professional. He never held any information from me, and had an honest opinion on every situation that I was presented with. Over the course of almost a year and a half, Brian helped oversee the entirety of the case, and ultimately except a plea that was reasonable. When my case began, I was extremely upset and distraught by my circumstances having criminal charges pressed against me.
