Richard Hanus and his law office represented a member of our household facing a desperate student visa situation and because of his approach, Richard was able to arrive at a creative, successful solution and the foreign student we are hosting no longer is forced to leave the U.S. Richard showed constant initiative and aggressive action to resolve the case, including getting the school’s administrator to admit, in writing, her negligence in carrying out her duties and how it caused the immigration problem in the first place. He also brought our congressman on board to help support the case. Richard has a unique style, a combination of friendly, resolute and sheer determination, and it worked perfectly to help achieve a successful resolution of the case and reinstatement of the student visa legal status. I would like to say that working with Richard Hanus was one of the most easy and less stressful case I’ve ever dealt with. Richard was my father's lawyer, and our family didn’t worry so much about him getting approve due to what Richard have shown us and fought for him in court. My father had broken some laws when he was much younger and had a deportation case. Richard manage to fight for him and now after being in the U.S. for a long time he's finally a permanent resident thanks to Richard Hanus. Before Richard, he already had a lawyer, but we did not feel he really care about the case and that our chances to win were not good. So I switched to Richard because I could tell he was a better lawyer. What my family enjoyed the most when working with him was how professional he is and how he doesn’t give you false hope.
