If I had known how easy and efficient it would be to work with Elizabeth, I would have definitely hired her a lot sooner. It took me 3.5 years into my separation to contact her (referred by a dear friend), and it took her just a few months to finalize my divorce. She was very patient with me, explained everything, listened and cared in what was an extremely difficult time of my life. Like many of us, this is my first time going through a divorce. I knew nothing of the process. Elizabeth was compassionate, helped me decrease my stress level as we took one step at a time. Her voice is calming which I believe makes a real difference. She is organized and let me know what step wewere on but she made sure I did not get overwhelmed at the same time. Usually, I find working with an attorney to be challenging from the get-go. No matter how transparent I ask the attorney to be, anything goes. Not with Elizabeth. Elizabeth always listened to my feedback (a lot of feedback) and explained if or how she would use it. There were times during this process when I felt we were not winning, but she explained what was going on. The end result was fair to both parties and we won the key points that she argued.
