Attorneys Jamie Teich and Dimitra Katsis are excellent lawyers, communicators, and counselors. Having dealt with “family” law attorneys before, I was/am a very difficult person/client to deal with and handle. Despite my previous bad experiences, I respected their work product, the words they chose to speak to me, and their handling/empathy of me — it’s rare to find attorneys that can do all that, especially in family law. I highly recommend them, and it would be a mistake not to hire them.

They helped me get my STD benefits decision over turned. Great overall experience with them, I glad I had them on my side .

Although I sought legal assistance, Atty Cohen is considered the best special education attorney in IL thus, it's quite difficult, or at least it was for us, to obtain legal assistance/advice from Cohen & Associates in my opinion. I really wish I could as I've been trying to defend my twin grandsons and my granddaughter's rights as 2e students for several years.

Complications with an existing divorce case and poor representation brought me to the Women's Divorce and Family Law Group. A close friend and highly regarded attorney recommended the firm with confidence. After previously working with other attorneys, I can enter this review with experience and honesty. Upon my initial phone interview with James Teich, I was comfortable entering an agreement with the firm. I appreciated his wit and humor since my case was so dark. I genuinely hate court, and I thought this relationship could make the experience more bearable. I really underestimated what this experience would be. In court on day one I learned what a great defender he was in front of the Judge! Not only is Jamie a great defender, he is motivated on principal, will act in yours and your children’s best interest, is a strong negotiator, and will not back down in even the toughest battles. I would without hesitation recommend James Teich to represent even my closest friends or family members. While he is not the cheapest attorney you will find, it will cost you more to hire a less qualified attorney that drags cases on and requests unnecessary paperwork just to run up the bill. I am beyond grateful for his experience and tenacity, but more so for making the legal process bearable. Thank you!

Words cannot express how grateful I am with Women's Divorce and Family and Law Group specially Sarah Vali who represented me during my custody case and difficult times. I do not recommend this firm, it was a very unpleasant experience for me, quite unprofessional. At the end I only received lies and excuses about my case, also, they said that I could no longer contact my attorney Ebony because she was no longer working with the firm, however she continues to work for them according to their website. I decided to switch with a new attorney. Stay away from them, they are only looking for your money, they do not care about your well-being or that of your family, they will only fight to take your money.

Dimitra and Josh were are large part of keeping me going during the year long process that we faced. I truly appreciate all of the work and effort that they put in for us and could never thank them enough.

I never realized just how scary a divorce can be; particularly, for someone who has been married for 21 years. I never saw or wanted this to be in my reality; however, my attorney, Kat Delgado, helped me cross a very difficult bridge. I definitely still don't think that divorce is something to be celebrated; yet, I'm thankful for Kat. I'm thankful for her diligence, her calm, her listening ear, her knowledge, and her expertise. Most importantly, she knows her stuff! She's like a quiet storm. She's soft and sweet but don't get it twisted, she's a thunderstorm too, if that's what you need. Thanks Kat, I appreciate you!

If I could give Shay a 10 Star Review I would because that's what she deserves. I hired Shay after I already had an attorney (with another firm) for over a year that was not doing anything on my case. I have 3 little girls and I was fighting my ex-husband in court for relocation and child support. After being in court for over a year and nothing being done in my case, I hired Shay and finally things got moving. In less than a year I was able to come up with an agreement with my ex-husband (with Shay's help) and finish my court case. Shay is Definitely one of the best attorneys for family law out there. I had the pleasure of knowing Stephanie Powers when she was still Stephanie Duarte. I unfortunately had to enlist her professional services for a very abrupt and painful divorce. Fortunately, I trusted my friend, and her intelligence and diligence paid off. Although I agree it should generally apply this way, the court heavily favors one party in these proceedings.
