If you need a competent, compassionate, and clever lawyer who always has your back then HIRE Melissa Caballero--Dunn. Like her name, everything Melissa did was in pursuit of finalizing my divorce as expeditiously as possible while also being conscientious of the cost. Without Melissa's commitment, my divorce would have dragged on unnecessarily. She guided me through the legal process and did so with empathy. I could contact Melissa at any time of the day, evening, and during her holidays and she always answered with good cheer and support. I highly recommend Melissa Caballero-Dunn and her team at Jonathan Merel to handle this difficult journey!!

Avoid! Their lawyers are not the most intelligent and their invoices are questionable at best. If you hire this law firm, make sure you reconcile your invoices yourself with detailed notes or be prepared for potential overcharging. Additionally they are VERY lackadaisical with your PII (personally identifiable information), as I received legal documents with other client’s information on them - so yes I know what was going on in someone else’s marriage (names, children involved, etc.). It’s clear they copy/paste from prior cases, further justifying the time/cost for the questionable invoice charges. Your ACP (attorney-client privilege) information that you trusted with them may be in the hands of other clients without you knowing!!

Your case gets forgot about, there communications is terrible and that Peter guy is very rude. If your case isn’t a big payout for them I guess this the treatment you get. Very sad

While my divorce was uncontested, it was still a stressful, strung out, round and round process that took years to finalize. Firstly, I would highly recommend Cora. She knows the Illinois divorce law and will fight for every inch to get you what you deserve. Not only is she a great attorney, but she is also a great therapist as well, and kept me sane during my nasty divorce. But there's more than just that, I could’ve done a few things differently BUT there’s no way I could’ve done this without an attorney like Cora. Her level of commitment and tact is incredible. I really appreciate everything she did. I’m divorced!! Yay!!

Klain and Associates did a terrific job for me in getting my disability approved through Social Security. Very professional and kept on top of the claim. Would highly recommend them in helping others get their claims approved.
