I worked with Josie Norton at the Law Offices of Jonathan Merel to help me with my divorce. I was nervous starting as I had no knowledge of the steps and the legal process of a divorce. Working with Josie, she made this process easy to understand and was always looking out for my best interest. She was always available and continuously provided me updates through the process. I am very happy I went with this firm to complete my divorce.

Bad experience every step of the way. I was instructed by Mr. Merrel to start the process fast due to the nature of events that led up to filing for divorce. That was the last time I talked to Mr. Merel I wasn’t informed by him I’d assigned someone else in the firm to handle my case. My case was then given to another lawyer who was some what attentive. After a few weeks I stopped hearing from her I called in and was informed she was no longer with the firm and David Z would be taking my case. So no communication from the firm that he would be taking my case I had to call in, no communication off the bat from Jon that he was going to be passing it to someone else. To say David’s communication was lacking would be an understatement. This was during Covid he would have court and I wouldn’t hear back about what happened in court for sometimes a few days. Also during the process it took 3 months for them to inform me text messages that were found couldn’t be used in court, which most of my case would’ve been based off of. By the time this was over I was agreeing to basically anything because I wanted the process over and didn’t even feel my own lawyers were on my side. From what I was sold would happen throughout the process to how it actually played out was night and day.
