I hired khaled to represent me on a real estate transaction that closed back in March 2024. I would NEVER recommend Khaled to any one. He is very unprofessional; leading up to the close, most of the time he wouldn’t pick up calls. I would have to text him - sometimes multiple times - to call me back. On closing, he didn’t explain the agreement he made with the Seller’s attorney on amount to tax credited to me to cover potential increase in the amount of second installment of 2023 and first quarter payments of 2024. When the tax invoices came last week, the credit given on closing was ~ $10,000 over the actual taxes. He didn’t give me heads up that I have to write a check back to the Seller for the huge amount. He did the calculation and sent an email to the Seller’s attorney “confirming the calculation and that I advised my client to send check for the amount owed.” He never advised me to build contingency to cover this big amount. Since then, I asked him three times to call me back so he can explain to me where things went wrong. He didn’t have the decency to even call. I set up a four way call with a representative of the mortgage company, and the Real Estate Agent to discuss solutions. He got on the call with us. As we were discussing how this happened, what would have been a more appropriate approach, and how to address the situation, he told me: “why don’t you hire an attorney and go to court” and hung up the phone on us. I have never had such an unprofessional experience like this before. I would never recommend him to anyone. Ironically, he sent me a request to write a review back on July 1st asking “if you can kindly provide a good review, I would greatly appreciate it.” Well, this is the review.
