In couple words: "You are more than lucky if Morgan Given is your attorney, and you are in trouble if she is your opposite counsel !" My case was very hard and complicated, but thanks to Morgan, the Justice prevailed. Morgan represented my son and I in a very complicated situation with my sons father. We hired Morgan Given and her colleague Brianna Meyer to guide us and represent us during the most difficult and heartbreaking time our family has faced. We were intervenors, as grandparents, in a custody dispute regarding our granddaughter, whose parents (our son and our granddaughter’s mother) were going through an unusually complicated and contentious custody case. Morgan Given helped me during a very difficult custody battle with my child and her father. I live in Texas, and was not able to meet with her in person, but over constant contact over the phone and email, she was able to assist me professionally, and be there for me when I was concerned. I could come to her with my worries, and she would hear me out. No matter how silly or small my fears were, she took the time to answer my questions - and let me know exactly how she would be handling things. She is very hands on, and I did not have a hard time getting in touch with her whatsoever. She handled just about everything herself. She kept me very well informed through out the entire process. Helping me understand what she would be doing, and what I could expect next. She also kept my other local lawyer involved very well informed, and would give me a copy of the emails she sent out on my behalf so I really understood exactly that actions she was taking every step of the way. Divorce is a complicated, lengthy, and emotionally and potentially financially painful process. Especially if it is not your idea in the first place. Morgan went above and beyond and was able to negotiate on my behalf and get me the result that will allow me to survive this trauma. Her complete knowledge of the law and all the unwritten rules that come with working with court systems day in and day out are assets that you need in your corner right now. Questions were answered quickly and through many different means (email, phone, etc). I don't do reviews every day. But she literally saved me. her negotiations got the alimony down from 12 yrs to 7.
