Pros
1
Knowledgeable and experienced attorneys who are dedicated to their clients
“Richard Hanus is extremely professional, will not give you false expectations, (Those abound in the immigration field) and is an honest person. He worked our case in a timely manner. I recommend him fully, without any hesitation.”
2
Responsive and communicative throughout the legal process
“Attorney Hanus and his assistant, Ana, helped me navigate the many requirements needed for a successful application for my wife to live in the United States. I was scared of making mistakes if I tried to do this without legal representation and assistance, especially in today's environment, where it is a nerve-wracking time to try bring a loved ones to the U.S. from overseas.”
3
Caring and empathetic attorneys who put their clients' best interests first
“Richard Hanus is one of the best Immigration attorneys in the state. He and his office staff show excellent professionalism and he always tells it how it truly is. Mr. Hanus helped me get my DACA and Employment Authorization Permit approval and then extension and he provided miscellaneous counseling on other matters.”
4
Transparent and honest about costs and expectations
“Attorney Hanus is very knowledgeable, very professional and thorough. Mr Hanus accepted our complicated case, which involved an uncertain and confusing process, as we were trying to get a family based green card. When my family first filed without counsel, the petition was rejected because USCIS could not trace the fee payment receipt but with Mr. Hanus help we were able to revive a process thought terminated.”
Cons
1
Slower response times and lack of communication from the firm in some cases
“After speaking to several other attorneys, I felt very confident that Fabbrini Law Group would help me with my case. Due to Cambry McNabb's experience in the courtroom, she was able to get my case thrown out. Definitely would recommend!”
2
Concerns about the firm prioritizing financial gain over client advocacy in some instances
“I engaged Beermann for a complicated case that had a short timeline. They were aware of this from the beginning. According to attorney Colleen Breems "Beermann uses a team approach to our cases, and usually, that looks like assistance of our clerks, paralegals, and associates at lower hourly rates than mine to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness." I was specifically told that the blended rate of this team approach would be less than Breems' rate of $425/hour. In reality, Beermann's "team approach" billing looked more like 2 partners and a 3rd attorney on every call and copied on every email for a blended team rate of $1,190 per hour, or over 3x the rate I agreed to pay and adding little-to-no incremental value to my case.”
