Tiffany's firm was able to explain to me in terms I could understand my position and the damages I had already done to myself. No nonsense, and so I had my expectations set. In my experience, not knowing is the worst situation, and this law firm kept my blinders off, cushioned my expectations, and did not leave me hanging in a world of hurt. Sadly, divorce is not only expensive, but it is time-consuming and stretches into the future with many unexpected twists in the path. In addition, the Hughes firm has dealt with many different law firms in the Chicago area, and Tiffany seems to have a good feel as to which are the stronger and more aggressive adversaries and those which may be are weaker and more willing to compromise. Good value for money paid. The firm did not send me on any expensive wild goose chases and worked hard to ensure efficiency so as to keep my costs under control. Importantly, there were NO financial surprises!
