On behalf of a caring community, and I, as an informed observer, recognize and celebrate Stephen Komie, of Komie and Associates, with a five star rating for his defense of a client whose case spanned 12 long years under the injustice of the court system. Mr. Komie inherited this case of extreme magnitude from another attorney, and ever so gallantly brought in a forensic psychiatrist who interviewed and tested the subject and came to the conclusion that this person did not have the ability to knowingly form the intent to do something wrong. With his passion, legal expertise, and sacred calling, Mr. Komie was the joyful warrior who fought for someone who needed a voice. Three cheers for never giving up, for righting a wrong which should never have materialized in the first place, and for bringing about a discharge of that which was brought against this individual.
