Several years ago after a life changing accident, my husband and I interviewed many of the best personal injury attorneys in the city and chose to be represented by Joe Power and his partner Larry Rogers Jr. I can not stress enough how happy we were to have chosen this law firm! The nature of the case required that very important investigative work be done right away and be done right and it was. In the years leading up to our trial, we were always kept in the loop and we knew that the firm was doing everything to prepare a rock solid case. The events of my brother's death required identifying and working with skilled experts to compose a compelling case with international defendants that eventually resulted in a settlement that provides for his family and giving us the details of what caused the accident resulting in my brother's death. The case involved numerous appeals, including to the Illinois Supreme Court and a petition by defendants to the US Supreme Court. The legal skills and perseverance of the staff of Power Rogers and Smith consistently prevailed. Throughout this long and trying process, Todd Smith, Brian Lecein and their staffs showed compassion, patience, and sincere empathy for our family.
