Working with attorneys John Mauck and Sorin Leahu has truly been a blessing. I pastor a church in Northern New York, and we recently purchased a new building in a district zoned for various public assembly uses but not explicitly for churches, and our Village would not permit us to use the space for public worship. With the assistance of our legal counsel, we've been engaged in a federal lawsuit. Though the situation isn't entirely finalized, a federal judge has issued an injunction, and we are now worshipping in our new building! The team here at Mauck and Baker have given us excellent and helpful counsel and representation throughout the process. Many thanks to them for their hard work and brilliant support. A lawyer has yet to get back to me after calling 3 times and left a voicemail once, I have a slum lord issue which I thought they dealt with but I guess not but I feel they could’ve at least gottten back to me especially since they’ve gotten back to everyone else.
