Thank you Abels & Annes P.C. I've been driving for 40 years. Never an accident. Then a teenager crossed the double yellow. November 2023. My car was totaled. I went to the emergency room. Herniated disc. Luckily, the teen driver and witnesses all said I was innocent. For over three months, I tried to get a fair settlement with the guilty driver’s insurance company. I was polite and patient. I shared all related documents and bills, including notes from the ER, a specialist, and my primary care doctor. I thought this accident was 100% straight forward. No gray area. But... the opposing insurance company would not budge. The experience was surreal and maddening. So many calls. I don’t think I ever talked to the same insurance agent twice. Then... I received a reference for Abel & Annes. I shared everything I had with them. They were sharp and detailed. My expenses were zero. Maybe a month later they settled for well beyond the insurance company's offer. We never went to trial. I felt 100% compensated. It's a shame I even needed a lawyer. My documentation was thorough. My experience with Attorney Curtis Ross was nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, he displayed a level of rudeness and disrespect that was utterly appalling. When I sought clarification on certain legal matters, he dismissed my concerns with the utmost arrogance, labeling my questions as "idiotic." Instead of fulfilling his role as a legal advocate, he left me to fend for myself in court, all the while painting a false picture of me as argumentative. His complete lack of support and guidance was both shocking and deeply disappointing. Save yourself the headache and avoid hiring Curtis Ross at all costs. He is an utter disgrace to the legal profession and will leave you high and dry when you need support the most.
