I had a very disappointing experience with Bonnie Varner. From the start, communication was a major issue. Emails and phone calls often went unanswered, and when I did hear back, the responses were vague and unhelpful. It felt like I had to chase them down just to get basic updates on my case. On top of that, their lack of preparation was evident. During important meetings and hearings, Bonnie seemed disorganized and unfamiliar with key details of my case. This lack of attention to detail caused caused me suing someone who is essentially judgement-proof and cost my company $17,000. Now I'm spending more money out of my pocket to get that $17,000. Basically, the defendant has outsmarted her. Overall, I regret choosing Bonnie and would not recommend their services to anyone looking for competent, attentive representation.

Bonnie the Beggar keeps asking me for money but she ain’t getting anything. Also, all the reviews stay and more will come. I’ll destroy your online reputation. Try harder next time I fear nothing and no one.

This attorney represented, or pretended to represent, a neighbor and attempted to intimidate myself and my neighbors for her alleged client’s repeated radiator leaks which repeatedly caused damage to several units. She delayed the insurance process, which caused further property damage, and what resulted ii her client’s insurance company finding her client negligent in his actions (guided by Ms. Varner), paid out nearly $10K in claims, and dropped her client as a policy holder. I plan to file a formal complaint with the ARDC for her role. Ms. Varner made a bad situation worse and it wasn’t even clear if she was representing my neighbor, or just pretending to represent him. The insurance adjuster called the chain of emails she was party to “horrific” and they promptly serviced myself and my neighbors for all our damages. Her client’s insurance company could not have been more effective and responsible.

Bonnie is a very prepared, thorough and knowledgeable about all aspects of tenant law. A great resources for other lawyers who do not practice that field of law, generous with her time answering questions and a great advocate for her clients.

Bonnie Varner is a very rude person I could not force myself to do business with her. She talked over me during a phonecall and never let me speak after I gave her my information. She has very poor people skills.
