In-depth experience, problem solver, work around the tight deadline!

I am a first-time buyer and have recently closed on my purchase of a condo downtown. Michael H. Wasserman was my attorney. Before I contacted Michael, I had read many positive reviews of his services. It is true that Michael is knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He answered my inquires promptly. In addition to daily interactions with him by email and on the phone for the purchase, I am very impressed with his professionalism at Closing. He went over a large number of documents efficiently while explaining them clearly to make sure that I understood those terms. He was quick to catch any details for my attention. Meanwhile, Michael works with a good team. John P. O’Mara sent me important documents and followed with explanations; Magdalena Marzec scheduled my Closing. Overall, I am happy with the service from Michael and his firm.

I’ve used Wasserman and his team to handle two real estate transactions. I originally found them when my original attorney was unresponsive, so we parted ways. Mike stepped in mid transaction and righted the ship for a smooth closing. Mike and his team also helped me with a purchase that did not involve real estate agents. Mr. Wasserman was rude, short and disrespectful. During our conversation, his tone was dismissive and belittling. As a women of color, I was offended by his behavior.

He knows exactly what is or is not needed to close a transaction smoothly. Most recently, he closed a purchase for our family remotely by performing additionally as our power of attorney. I worked with John Aylesworth on my house closing. It was my first time buying a house. He and his assistant were very helpful and lovely to work with. Their emails were professional and filled with useful information. John facetimed into my closing appointment (due to covid) and was thorough in his explanations of everything I was signing and had a great sense of humor as well. I would definitely hire them again in the future and recommend them to my friends and family.
