We highly recommend the Mike Wasserman law office. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, informative and we felt looked after. John Aylesworth in particular helped us feel safe, heard and protected, which is rare and helpful in home buying. I would recommend this office for first time homebuyers as a safe place to get true information and support. Grateful for the team!

I have had the pleasure to have Michael represented us in both of our home purchases (one back in 2014 and one just now in 2021). Both times Michael has gone above and beyond to make sure that our experience is a positive one. For my first home back in 2014, it was originally a short sale that eventually fell through (the seller's bank didn't approve the short sale). It later was listed for sale by the bank (for a price of 20% higher) and we decided to have another go at it. Michael did not charge us for the second try. For my just-closed (3 days ago) home, I decided to not use a buyer's agent for the transaction. Michael was very helpful and patient in explaining the process to me and answering the hundred questions that I threw at him. Everything went smoothly and we closed on time despite me choosing a very unresponsive lender (lesson learned). Michael guided me through all of the steps, answered all of my questions, went through all of the closing documents and explained to me in details everything I signed. I had no prior experience in real estate so I'm sure I asked some very naive question but at no point did I feel like he was annoyed by my questions or he was trying to rush through the process. He was always patient. Michael has always been responsive via emails and phone calls. I never had to wait for more than 24 hours for him to get back to me, even during weekends and after hours. Most of the time he got back to me within the hour. I have recommended Michael to everyone that mentioned they were looking for a real estate attorney. A couple of my friends and co-workers have closed multiple properties through him. I have never heard anything but praises for him. I will have Michael represented us for all of our future Chicago area real estate transactions. And you should too.

Michael and John have been exceptional to work with. They guided me through every step of the process, and I was thankful that I chose them. Buying a home is a major life decision, a huge financial commitment, that can be fraught with difficulty, with many moving pieces. They truly represented me, and despite challenges with my lender, they advocated for me, and came through. For friends, family and anybody looking for a real estate lawyer, they are the ones I would recommend.
