It is simply indescribable how dedicated Mr. Arami is to his craft. I was in a situation where I approached him last minute, to say the least. He went above and beyond - he explained things to me in a way I understood, he worked after hours on my behalf (one night until near midnight), and most importantly, he was able to to execute an agreement that was fair and where all parties involved were satisfied. I was ticketed for driving 49 in a 30 MPH zone in a speed trap in Lake Villa, IL. I had no defense for my speed but I didn’t want this ticket to go on my record. Less than a year ago I was caught in another speed trap in Chicago and I took the driver safety class, got court supervision and successfully avoided the ticket on my record. Since this current ticket was less than 12 months after my last ticket, driver safety school was not an option for me. I went online to investigate my options and found the Driver Defense Team. The team was very easy to work with. They communicated clearly about the process and potential outcomes, as well as the fees. The day before my trial my attorney, Shahina Khan, called to discuss my case and she made a specific recommendation on how to proceed that would likely avoid a conviction and keep it off my record. I agreed and she went to trial for me the next day (thankfully I didn’t have to appear). Well, the police officer did show up so the case couldn’t be dismissed. Ms Kahn was able to plead guilty but with the stipulation that I would pay the fine and not get another ticket during the next three months of my court supervision. My overall experience with Driver Defense Team was excellent. The fine was $276 and my DDT fee was $160 so the final cost was well below what my increased insurance premiums would have been if I had this ticket hit my record. I highly recommend the DDT to everyone. I hope I won’t have to use them again but if I do get another ticket I’ll be sure to call them again.
