SCAM ALERT! Turnbull and Freedom debt relief are complete scams. They claim to save you 40 to 45% off of your debt. However, in reality, whatever you save in paying your creditors, Turnbull will end up charging you the difference with their “settlement fees.” YOU WILL SAVE NOTHING in this program! After 8 months, Turnbull only negotiated 1 of my debts (out of 10 in the program), despite me having more than enough money deposited into my Turnbull account to settle several more. During the eight months, I was receiving collection notices and even had a lawsuit threatened. The uneducated Turnbull client representatives will give you the runaround when you question them about negotiations, and they certainly won’t respond to any emails with substance. You will become incredibly stressed and frustrated in this program. On top of that, their attorneys are absolutely worthless, and will not respond to you at all. I ended up contacting the other nine creditors, and asked if Turnbull had been negotiating on my behalf, and every single one of them told me a resounding no! At that point, I began negotiating with my creditors myself, and was able to resolve every single one of my debts between 35 and 40% off of the balances. When I demanded money back from my Turnbull account, after resolving the debt on my own and closing the program, Turnbull told me that they would return my funds within 10 business days. It’s been two months and they have yet to return my $1200. Save yourself a headache, and a ton of money, and negotiate directly with your creditors on your own!! It may be intimidating at first, but your creditors want to resolve the debt just as much as you do.

I'm like a little more than a month and one account is already settled

I left my original review under my other email address - the whole story of how TB destroyed my life begins there. The only way to get someone of any "authority" to speak with you apparently is to leave a nasty review. TB is now claiming I never sent them S&C paperwork (I did, have the date of uploading it, and dated emails) and now that creditor is attempting to garnish wages from me. RUN RUN RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. Seriously, they will destroy your entire life. They have ruined mine and countless others and don't even have the decency to speak with someone on the phone. Now I get to face the humiliation of my employer knowing personal details about my life. Thanks TB you are truly the lowest level of hell.

This is the worst customer service and lawyers I have ever worked with. If you cancel payments they still steal money out of your account without permission. There fees cost more than doing settlements yourself. Not worth it at all. Had to cancel and do everything myself to save myself money. They chose how they want things done. They don’t care about you as a customer and you are better off going anywhere else. And don’t even get me started about trying to get people on the phones and they never call you back.

I'm running across what a lot of you are saying. The credit cards are saying no one from this company has contacted them and turbulence had not reached out. Although I was informed the credit card company's would be contacted after the first payment. I've made three and nothing has been communicated. Why is this legal to steal from people that are just asking for help, trying not to disregard their responsibilities. Something is really wrong with people who take the little bit you have and put in a deeper hole than you started.
