While nobody hopes to need a lawyer in their lifetime, my family and I are glad to call David H Weiss ours. We have been in family court in and out since 2014. I've had my share of sub par lawyers. I have reached a point where I have lost faith in the system that was originally designed to protect the victims of family domestic abuse. For years we have been praying for a great lawyer who will fight for us, and we found David! He is knowledgeable about the law and it shows in court. David took my case after I was completely railroaded by the court system. After looking at my case he has filed motions to get my child support to a very reasonable amount. A1/3 of what the judge imputed on me! He has stood up for me in 3 motions from ex on bs claims of violating my orders. David has been my rock in this unbelievable situation my ex put me in! He is the most honest, knowledgeable, and patience person I have dealt with in the last 4 years of my divorce/ child. He has been able to actually reply to a question in a very timely manner! Mike had been a great resource and an incredible source of support through my citizenship process! While my case was pretty straightforward, it was still easy to be nervous every step of the way. Having someone like Mike on my side helped my confidence.

A law professor who is also of Indian descent and used his spheres of professional influence and his knowledge of the law to torture me for 5 years of my life.

David was an amazing lawyer. I was on the defense in a protection order. The case was dismissed as the petitioner did not even bother to show up. The petitioner attempted to contact me multiple times either directly or indirectly. The attempted contact made me very nervous and unsure as what to do, David remained calm and was there right away to give me advice on how to appropriately respond to the situation. I feel as though this couldn't have been accomplished without David's ability. He was on top of the case right away. He told me all possible outcomes, possibilities, my options and what he expects. It was as easy for him as a walk in the park. His quick response, professionalism, calm demeanor, and knowledge on those cases gave a huge peace of mind to my family and I from our first conversation with him from the first conversation. And in a time where stress and worry for the future is at an all time high, the value of that peace of mind could not be overstated.

He is understanding of one’s feelings and perspective throughout the whole process while remaining objective enough keep the most important things the focus. It is easy to become hung up on minor items. He is very good at presenting options with the potential consequences so one can make the best decision possible. I hired David for a messy divorce and custody of my now 3 year old. My personal case was unnecessarily complicated and dragged out. It lasted over 17 months. I hired David after the first 7 months with an attorney that was not my advocate. David was able to obtain a schedule to provide stability to a chaotic situation, obtain/keep restrictions for the safety of my child, and protect me financially. David is a fantastic communicator; he was available to answer my never-ending list of questions and concerns. His response was timely and reassuring.
