Michael did an amazing job as my attorney. He charges a very reasonable fee and showed professional courtesy, dedication, empathy and patience, despite being very busy. You want somebody on your side who listens and is supportive. You also want someone who won't take any BS and can go to bat for you. Michael O’Meara is your Major League star player, and he treats every case like the final world series game. A pretty clear choice. I had just gotten my first car at 29, and I got into a scary collision. In the spirit of honesty, I told the responding officer I had consumed a small amount of alcohol (1 beer) an hour or two before driving. I blew under yet still received an SLS DUI charge. I had to spend the night in a frigid cell, still in shock from the collision. Soon after, I received over 100 letters in the mail offering legal help, but I wanted to find someone I could trust. After an interview with him and someone recommended by a law student friend, I decided to pick Michael O’Meara based on a vast level of specialized experience within this area of law as both defense attorney and prosecutor. This–coupled with the many reviews lauding his persistent nature and strive for professional excellence–gave me confidence that I was in the right hands. He was realistic and didn’t promise anything but his personal confidence in my outcome and dedication to my case. Right before trial, lockdowns began and my case was stretched out for multiple years. Many zoom and in-person court appearances later, my charges were dismissed without going to a bench trial. Michael stuck with me the whole time, easing the anxiety and stress of attending. I strongly believe he would’ve won had it gone to trial. He definitely deserves the five stars.

Young and her team (Amanda and Pamela) have helped me successfully get my marriage-based green card in a record speed. Young and her team have been incredibly thorough and detailed that I feel really comfortable navigating this process that can be stressful at times. She really goes above and beyond expectations. For example, I struggled to find this one document from 10+years ago from an exchange program, and before I asked to figure out an alternative, Young already went ahead to get that alternative solution. Also Young is really knowledgeable and has proactively identified ways for me to expedite the case that I had no idea of before. She and Amanda are always really responsive with all my emails and provide very detailed answers that give me the knowledge to feel more at ease. As a fellow immigrant herself, she is also really caring and shows great empathy towards the anxiety and stress of an immigrant. I felt that I was really cared for as a human being. I couldn’t recommend Young enough to other fellow immigrants. In fact I have already referred a couple of close friends going through various immigration situations to Young
