I had the unfortunate event of catching a DUI charge in the west suburbs. I contacted Mike and was met with honesty, transparency, and real care. I am a city employee and my CDL was at stake. Let me just start off by saying Michael O'Meara is an outstanding attorney! THIS MAN SAVED MY LIFE!!! I had gotten into some serious trouble. I had 2 years jail time looming over my head. Out on conditional discharge. If i got in any trouble I would violate and be sent to prison. What did i do? I got pulled over for a DUI. Was arrested and was out on an I bond. Michael O'Meara is the most professional attorney I've ever worked with. It is very difficult to admit, but this was my third DUI, and you can image the stress, the shame, the uncertainty I felt after it happened. Although my last one happened sixteen years ago, a third one, if convicted, can be a very serious offense that can take away your family, your freedom, your livelihood, and it can lead to a felony which can eventually lead to inability to find employment after all is done. Michael was the go to guy after researching several criminal lawyers in the Chicago land area. Someone close to me needed a lawyer to represent him after being charged with a misdemeanor. This was worrisome since he had a clean record and obviously didn't want this affecting his future. Well luckily we got a hold of Michael and he was very attentive and knowledgeable. Formerly a prosecutor, he knew exactly what we were up against which allowed us to better prepare for the court date. There were a total of two separate charges and a conviction. Michael was able to drop a charge as well as the conviction, which would have been a nightmare process. This was definitely a favorable outcome considering the circumstances surrounding the case.
