I wish I could give zero stars. They charge you for 2 attorneys. They over bill and want to talk on the phone to run up bills. He withdrew on me after I set up a payment plan with a co signer. I submitted a ARDC complaint on him last year. Once I filed the complaint he tried to negotiate the 60k bill he charged me. I said no thanks and filed the complaint. He will be loosing his license very soon

I visited the offices of Mr Jeffery Leving in March 31st and spoke with Anthony D’agostino one of the senior lawyers at the firm and he was very helpful, while he wasn’t able to take my case since it’s an out state case the advice he gave me was extremely helpful. I respect and appreciate the his honesty, loved his attitude. The staff in the office were very nice as well.

Don't waste your time or money with any of these scumbags. You're paying for a name, they can care less about you. Why am I saying this you ask? Well for starters, what legit attorney charges consultation fees if they cared so much about your case? These scumbags will charge you when any other custody attorney has free consultation. Don't be fooled!! They are going to charge you a ridiculous amount of money. Shop around and I promise you you're going to find a more reputable and respectable attorney who actually wants your case and cares about you and your family. I found an attorney who won my case and charged me a fraction of what these scumbags wanted. They are so low, they actually called me about this review and I laughed in his face and told him the best thing he can do is never call me again. I don't know for sure, but to me he sounded drunk when he called me and this was during normal business hours.

Working with Jeffrey M Leving was a surprisingly great experience. In particular, Marta Shvets was a standout. She was compassionate, a great listener, and assertive while not aggressive. An easy recommendation.

A complaint filed in January by the state’s Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission and posted online this week accuses attorney Jeffery M. Leving of charging unreasonable fees to clients and failing to refund unearned fees, in violation of the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct.
