I hired this firm some time ago for a child visitation case and was thoroughly disappointed. The case went on for apx 18 months and all I got out of it was lighter pockets. I spent close to $10,000 including flights, appearances bogus fees, and three different attorneys the firm appointed and ended up with NOTHING!!!! I PERSONALLY do not recommend this attorney or his firm. Save your money and if forced to go with this firm, represent yourself!

I had the opportunity to hire Matthew Katz and his team a few years back. I went to meet with him at his office with a legal matter that I was not sure how to handle. Turned out that Matthew not only provided me with peace of mind in the short term but also found an answer to my legal situation. I hired this firm a few years back to handle a child visitation complaint. I live in Atlanta and was fighting for rights to have visitation for my daughter who lives in Chicago. After 3 of the firms attorneys worked my case, and in an almost 2yr fight, I left out with nothing but apx $7,000 in debt for what I believe was sub standard representation to incl the cost of plane travel back and forth to court for nothing. However, at a cost to me, we did establish paternity. I can't honestly recommend you hire this firm to represent you in an animal adoption case. On the upside, they are experts in billing!

I employed the services of Katz Law and the firm waited almost 18 months before taking any action with my case. I learned after going pro-se, there were at least 4 other avenues the firm could have pursued rather than to continue the case and constantly submit motions to withdraw due to non-payment (actually delayed) for services. This is my story, yours may be different.

After waiting 15 minutes to schedule an appointment, and getting a call back from the firm to reschedule my appointment to another location. My experience was that they wanted to charge me 8,000 to handle my case. I'm a U.S. citizen trying to file for my wife, she has no criminal record, or has ever been deported, or any moral issues. I can honestly tell you that they are taking advantage of our people. Look out there are other professional attorneys out there that will help you with out trying to rip you off......
