Levin & Perconti did more for my family and I than they would ever know. Not only did they help us obtain justice for my mother, but they helped bring back some sense of normalcy for my family and I. They’ve also inspired and helped me as a student to now pursue a career in law, and I couldn't be more appreciative of them helping me get to where I am now.

After the sudden nursing home death of my father, we contacted the law office of Levin & Perconti. The team of Isabela Bacidore, Salma Lopez, and Jack Terran went to work immediately. The case took almost two years to settle. During this time, the team showed the utmost professonalism in every respect. All information about the procedings was always immediately given to us, and proceeds were sent as soon as the case was closed. Thanks to the team at Levin & Perconti, we now have closure.

Megan is extremely knowledgeable, dedicated, persistent and compassionate. She explained everything to me so I was able to understand and always kept me informed what was going on. I highly recommend Levin and Perconti!

The team at Levin and Perconti, specifically Jaime Koziol and Aleah Severin, navigated me through a very difficult time with the utmost professionalism and pragmatism. Their honesty and transparency helped me manage my expectations as well as those of my family and their management of the case helped us achieve a quality outcome. I can't recommend them enough and just so glad I found them.

The most caring and hospitable law firm. They make so much money from cases bit you would never know that from thos form. It wasn't about money because even though I lost my mom through neglect and the company filed bankruptcy because of all their wrong doings. Mr. Shanahan still stayed with me and explained every step of the way. I didn't care about the money because nothing is coming out of this. I just hope Perconti and Mr. Shanahan can let the world know they were wrong and didn't give my mom the care she was in trusted in them to get. She would have been here just a little bit longer if the nursing home had watched her as they should have. Mr. Shanahan is one of the most caring attorneys I have ever met.

As a lawyer myself, I could not be more disappointed with the "services" of this firm. As someone with a deeply personal case, signing that retainer agreement was one of the best days of my life. I thought I finally had not only someone on my side, but a nationally renowned law firm too!
I was utterly enthusiastic and cooperative in providing everything I thought was needed to help my case, but soon hope would turn to anxiety as weeks dragged on as my case was still being reviewed. I can totally understand why things take a long time, but I came to learn that reviewing didn't mean "We're on your side and coming up with the best plan of attack.", but "if we see a case to proceed with." It is one thing to have a case going slowly through the legal system, it is another thing to be left in limbo waiting to see if this train will *ever* get moving. I felt like a man on his wedding day only to be told by his wife at the altar "Sorry, I need a few more weeks to review this relationship."
Please note that this sign-a-retainer-agreement-then-reject-you nonsense has not been pulled by any other lawyer I have worked with or known in the industry. By agreeing L&P to be my lawyer, I effectively had to put my search for a lawyer on hold (i.e. getting someone else would have breached it on my end). Some lawyers waste your money, but L&P wasted my time and harmed my case by tying me down and burning away weeks on the statute of limitations that I could have spent looking for other lawyers. They literally did worse than nothing; whatever work or analysis they have to show for all that waiting they certainly won't show it to me; I explicitly asked.
Lack of transparency is certainly a running theme here. During the awful waiting period I tried calling and emailing multiple times for updates, only to be told they would get back to me later. In talking with those on the phone I would come to learn that they hadn't even gotten the spelling of my name right on their file! An otherwise mildly annoying and 100% understandable mistake, but losing a penny is all the more insulting if you just lost $100; little things compound the big things.
They're the cherries on top, and there was certainly a cake beneath that little mistake: I literally did not even know which attorney was working on my case until it was rejected. Being asked on the phone "Who is the name of the attorney you are trying to reach?" (or something like that) always stung, because I had no clue who was supposed to be on my side. I remember calling them one Friday, in a state of mental breakdown at how much stress the lack of transparency was causing, only to be redirected to some guy named Kevin who could not tell me any useful information.
To be clear I understand lawyers choose their clients just as much as clients choose lawyers and I can handle rejection, even rejections with no reason, but L&P went above and beyond by providing reasoning which was utterly nonsensical.
Apparently they are not "specialized" enough in my area, even though my case is literally covered by an advertised category on their website! 200+ years of experience but you won't even try? It's like Michael Jordon not volunteering for a free throw or Gordon Ramsay refusing to cook beef Wellington.
If L&P weren't interested they could have just sent me a rejection letter the week of our first contact. That would have been respectful of me, my case, my time, and my mental health. That would have been in line with what I understand professional consultations and case evaluation is like in this industry. But this literal nonsense non-explanation, after signing me on, after weeks of agony in helpless waiting? That's adding insult to an injury that's already had salt rubbed in it.
