Despite the suit taking nearly 7 years to settle. I felt the settlement was fair. My father finally has justice. My attorney was able to get an expert that the defense could not refute.
The nursing and their lack of hiring competent nursing staff should be addressed. But hearing from other families this seems to be the norm with them.
The pain and suffering and ultimate death my dad endured, NO person should have to endure. EVER!!
Medicare and Medicaid should do more to monitor these facilities!

They followed up on my email quickly, and called me back the next day when I did not respond! The young lady I spoke to was very nice and understood my need to discuss my husband’s situation even though I Nnn knew it is too soon to push and have a hissy fit!
I know that whether this turns into anything they will always be the first medical attorneys I ever go to for help!

Thanks to Danielle Downey and Jack Terran, attorneys at Levin and Perconti, I am seeing closure, new IL. Statute 735IlCS5/ 22301,part d) SEEMED not to dissuade defense from practicing the 3'ds. Defend, Delay, Don't pay, but thanks to ongoing effort and time of the firm, the end is near for funds to be dispursed.
