I have been a client of Tim Gutknechts for several years now and he has always been great to work with. He is reasonable and fair and gets requests that I have for him done in timely manner. From Trusts and Wills to Aquisitions and Collections, Tim and his staff are great to work with!

Once my daughter's moving violation hit the court docket, Tim sprang into action. His expert knowledge of the law and familiarity with the court process resulted in a favorable and fair outcome for my daughter.

Tim Gutknecht has been such a great legal resource for my business and my family. Working with him is easy and straightforward; he's helped with business matters and also issues we have in our local community. I appreciate that his firm also has affordable rates! I highly recommend Stumpf & Gutknecht for any legal issues you are having.

I could tell by the first phone call with Mr. Stumpf, that I didn’t want him to represent me. He was extremely dismissive and really didn’t want me to explain the whole situation, we talked for maybe 2 minutes. He cut our call very short and ended with, “Well I charge $225 an hour for my services.” Great. I’m not sure what gave him the impression I wasn’t willing to pay for his services but it was very off-putting. He then emailed me and told me he did some “research” on the situation. He didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already research myself. Getting a lawyer for my situation was my last step, not my first. He then sent me a contract to sign stating I would be billed for his services. I didn’t sign it because I didn’t want to use his service and it was clear to me from the start he did not care about resolving the issue, he just wanted to be paid. It’s not my problem or concern that he spent a fraction of his time “researching.” Most lawyers (my mother has worked with lawyers for years) do not charge you for anything until you agree & sign a contract to retain their representation. I never did that. But then I received a bill in the mail. The bill was “itemized” describing the time he spent researching, emailing, and calling me. It’s a good thing I have a record of the 2 minute phone call we had as well as our emails. I left a message with the receptionists stating I won’t be paying. We had no agreement. I wonder how many of his “clients” or prospects that he’s billed and who has paid without ever agreeing to pay. Just because I’m a young woman, does not mean I can be pushed around and taken advantage of. I wouldn’t recommend his services to anyone. It’s pretty obvious that he doesn’t have a passion for his clients, just a passion for money.
