Pros
1
Effective in trial and jury selection
“the jury loved him an he knew how to talk to them, way better than some lawyers I've dealt with in the past”
2
Actively involves the client in the legal process
“I was a active participant throughout the whole case not like other lawyers or the public defenders office where they make all your decisions for you”
3
Fights for the client's interests instead of pushing for plea bargains
“he didn't treat me like a criminal an try to get me to plea bargain with the state like the public defenders office and you end up in prison!!!”
Cons
1
Poor communication and responsiveness
“He fails to return calls and gets all your information wrong! Wrote down our information atleast 3 times yet final day it was still incorrect.”
2
Lack of diligence and attention to detail
“The final dissolution papers had our address misspelled and my child's name wrong.”
3
Unreliable and makes promises that are not kept
“He took my money and made promises that all fell threw, he failed to appear in court on an important custody issue and backed out of my case without warning”
4
Unprofessional behavior and disregards client input
“Leon made my decision on a different floor and proceeded to go before a Judge with the Plaintiff's Council in a chamber other than where we were scheduled without calling me down and advising me of the options.”
5
Bias and lack of focus on the client's best interests
“Leon will exaggerate, twist and downright lie in his guardian ad litem reports. If you have the opportunity to choose, stay away from this dude. He's lazy, he does the bare minimum, he has no clue what is "in the best interest of the child"”
