I never write online reviews, but in the case of Michael Samuels and his staff, I could not help but right a glowing review for his work in my purchase recently of a new home. Mike and his staff are extremely organized, responsive, and thorough. Mike is a pleasure to work with, as he is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, patient and clear in his explanations of the home buying process. He caught an important error made by the mortgage broker which could have led to a potential significant complication relative to the closing. We hired Mike as our attorney for buying our first house. This is our first time so we don't have much to compare, but we feel like our money is extremely well spent in the following ways: 1. It's our first time talking to an attorney in any setting at all, and neither of us took any law lessons, so we know nothing. Mike was extremely patient to explain anything we don't understand. He was also very understanding of our limited brain power and would summarize lengthy papers for us, but would happily explain more if we care to learn more. 2. Our purchase was quite a few layers more complicated than your typical house buying due to reasons, but Mike and his assistants were very responsive throughout the entire process, ~2months. He would call me if there's something urgent and/or important, answer my calls for all my questions, and keep me informed through every step. 3. At the closing, we finally got to meet him in person. He made ~2 hours of signing papers fun and engaging. He explained everything we need to know in great details, and made sure we felt comfortable before we signed anything. Mike and his team were highly professional and easy to work with. House buying is an ordeal, but Mike made it so much easier on us. Thank you Mike and team!
