I have worked with Buckley and Buckley for many years. Bridget handled my visitation with my child. She is very knowledgeable about the law and what can be done. I needed a quick turn around on my will and other legal documents before a surgery. It was done within a matter of days. The office staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend Buckley and Buckley to anyone needing family law.

Don’t hire her , they will take your money, do nothing, please stay away from this lawyer.

Please don’t wait your time and money to hire this lawyer for your divorce, they are very bad lawyers i regard, they will do nothing for your case. Very disappointed.

If communication and professionalism are important to you, I would not choose this law firm. (With that being said, I have read nothing but positive comments regarding Kathy and when her daughter was out unexpectedly and Kathy and her team stepped in to assist, it was night and day from what I had experienced up until that point.) As far as issues are concerned… I was told on numerous occasions that she was personally swamped and the office “couldn’t keep up” due to her mother retiring which I can appreciate but at the same time, I have urgent custody issues and to be blunt, her workload is not my problem as I am paying her for her time and service. At some point, she should consider not taking on additional clients until she can get organized and can handle her current work load. Communication from this office is very poor, I would call regarding urgent custody issues and not hear back and have to call numerous times to get an answer. I was told they could never get my phone to go through but turns out after being her client for over a year that they had the last digit of my phone number wrong. They were slow to communicate court dates, I would find out a day or two before we were supposed to appear in court. Most attorneys will prep you for a court hearing but Bridget’s prep was done 5 minutes before we were due in court and having the bailiff tell us that we needed to come “NOW” because we were delaying the entire court. It was embarrassing and uncalled for. If they file anything with the court, they never notified me or sent me a copy however the one time her mother filled in, I got copies of everything. They will forward documents from the other party with zero commentary or explanation of what you were receiving. If you could get her on the phone, it would be late evening most times or my favorite was when she was dropping her dog off to be groomed and I couldn’t hear what she was saying. During our settlement conference, my now ex-husband’s attorney ended up helping me and guiding me more than my attorney. When I finally hit my breaking point and called to ask them to withdraw from my case, after they had blatantly lied to the attorney on the other end about me “blocking their calls” and again, THEY were calling the wrong phone number, Bridget was very condescending and rude and at one point she even said, “you are the first person to fire me THIS YEAR.” I guess she’s had a solid 4 months into 2024 but not years previous, I’m not sure what else she meant by that. In addition, there is a YELP review posted 28 days ago that sounds very similar to my experience. I could go on and on but I’ll end with saying dealing with divorce is not easy. I needed guidance and support and you will not find that here so please do your due diligence and choose your attorney wisely and if I could go back I would absolutely steer clear of Buckley & Buckley.

Mrs Kathy Buckley & team provided fair & balanced recommendations on my nasty custody case! She was able to clearly recommend the best outcome with my childrens interest in mind! I greatly appreciate her teams efforts.

Going through the divorce process is never easy; however, when you hire the right attorney for the job, they can make it very stress-free! Kathy was amazing, to the point, and didn’t try to waste my time or money with going back and forth over petty stuff that we could resolve on our own (contents-personal property items).
