Hired them for my son and in 6 months very little if anything has been done. They refuse to answer calls and hardly respond to text messages! I have never been treated or heard of anyone being treated by a lawyer this way!

I was arrested for DUI in August of 2018. I called the office hoping to have Todd Cohen represent me. I was told that another lawyer in the office, Elizabeth Ruble was far more knowledgable with the judges and prosecutors in DeKalb county where my case would be heard. Sycamore PD pulled out all the stops trying to convict me including getting receipts from where I was drinking hours before the arrest and taking written statements from people who never witnessed me drinking or driving. I figured that this was going to be a four star cluster but Ms. Ruble did a dynamite job shooting holes in their case. She knew how to read the judge and the prosecutor and after requesting a direct finding of not guilty, I walked out of court conviction free. I highly recommend this law firm for anyone looking for a group of young, smart, and hard working people who aren't going to charge you ridiculous rates. Thanks again to Elizabeth Ruble for ensuring that I was rightfully cleared of this serious charge. I was happy to hear that they also do real estate law as well and will definitely be calling their office in the event I require those services!

Interviewed 3 attorneys. None of which has represented someone with a bigger speeding ticket than I had. I almost did not go with Todd, because he came off as a bit over confident (too put it kindly). But the reviews swayed me and thank goodness! If ever an attorney deserved to be a bit arrogant, Todd would be it. Besides just doing the impossible for me, he was extremely responsive with communication, very reassuring and easy to work with. Never witnessed or met a better attorney.

Working with Elizabeth Pudwill/Rubble was a great disappointment towards the end. The moment she was paid she failed to communicate that she was sending someone else on her behalf. Stood in the courtroom waiting for her and never arrived. Went out of the courtroom to text/call her and it was as if she expected me to know that she was sending someone else. She was very helpful im the begining and had a very sour taste afterwards with a bit of a stuck up attitude. The guy that represented me last, which I'm upset I can't remember his name was very helpful, detailed and had a great attitude of my outcome. My point is that there are plenty of lawyers and it's a service you're offering. You would think there would be more friendly in a sense and more professional in the sense of at least notifying your client , "hey I wont be there but will be sending someone instead." By not doing that minimim there was a sense of insecurity of who the hell did I just contract as a lawyer. None the less, nothing against anyone else in that firm but some adjustments can definitely be made!!!!!!

Todd and Brandon have helped so much throughout my cases. They showed me all options and make sure I was aware of everything going on. Never will I use another firm. So trustworthy and made sure everything was clear for me.
