I was lucky to get Shay as my divorce attorney, the first phone call (consultation) i had with her. I immediately knew i wanted her to represent me. She was very professional, kind-hearted, sincere, and with so much information she had given me, i knew she knew the law very well. After i hired her, she put in an appearance the next day. This woman means business! I would highly recommend Shay.

Divorce can be messy, challenging, and financially and emotionally draining. I was fortunate enough to have Shay representing me through it all. Unlike the previous lawyer I had hired, who was hostile, condescending, and dismissive of my concerns, Shay took the time to listen to my needs. She was not only patient, kind, and professional, she showed compassion. She always took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I felt supported and understood. Because she was aware of my financial constraints, she made sure that whatever step we took was financially feasible for me. She provided genuine guidance; it wasn’t just about her making money. Interviewing various lawyers in December 2019, l met with Shay and was surprised at how young she looked. She's the age of my daughters and I wondered would she be capable of handling my divorce which would involve several million dollars of property and division of other assets. Did she have enough experience? Another concern of mine was that, even though I would be hiring her for her knowledge of the legal system, I wanted to actively share the bottom line decisions on how certain things would be handled. She agreed to work with me. When I wanted to fly off the handle, she would give me Calm and appropriate advice as to my next move. She even explained that certain things would be much more expensive thus disproving the idea that ALL attorneys are just about the money. She of course, needs to make a living, but the amount of work she did and the manner which it was done, she was worth every penny of it and then some! I kept my faith in her, and she never let me down. She guided me in the right directions all the way through, and she was very easy to work with. I actually consider her a friend at this point and she not only helped me monetarily get through this divorce, she truly was there emotionally. So don't let her youth lead you to believe that she doesn't have the courage, compassion, and knowledge to represent anyone in need of legal assistance.

I highly recommend The Froum Law Offices. I was referred to them by a colleague when my brother, who lived in Chicago, passed.
