Be glad John is retiring and you cannot hire him to take your money and not work on your case. He spends his winters in Florida so nothing happens then. Azam Nizamuddin was terrible, incompetent and would prefer to be a failed poliician. I explained the same things to him several times, not what you expect for $350 an hour. They took $8400 for 14 months of 'work' and did not complete my simple, straightforward divorce. Communication, followup and updates are poor. They will promise and bill you for an update or drafting an MSA, but they won't share it with you. John quit with no notice and no relief, expecting you to hire someone else and pay the same amount of money and time over again. Pathetic and disgusting as a person and business owner. The 2nd time I met John, he told me the exact same story twice in 5 minutes. Make sure whoever you hire is actually around, mentally and physically. I've filed a complaint with the ARDC and plan to sue John and Azam for theft. John may have been a good person or lawyer in the past, but not now.

Although I did not retain Mr. John Martoccio, I felt leaving my brief interaction with him could be the nudge that someone needs to make the (right) decision to move forward with his services. I’m in the beginning stages of a child support case and doing homework on attorneys for hire has been quite daunting to say the least.
