Jeannine Parker-Ross was assigned to my court case as the GAL. On my first meeting with Jeannine, she informed me that she was married to a man who coincidentally had the same last name of my ex husband. I feared instantly that because of that Jeannine who favor my ex because of her need to share this with me. It didn't take long for me to see that Jeannine was not working in the best interest of my son. It was very obvious that Jeannine was working for the best interest of my ex husband. Jeannine seems to favor the men versus remaining mutual and working for what would be the best interest of the child. Despite my son telling Jeannine compelling details of what happens when he goes to his father's house and what his father does., and after Jeannine herself informing me of the things my son shared with her, she still spoke highly favoring my ex husband. My son was left devastated feeling his voice was not heard and the concerns he shared with Jeannine were ignored. Because of Jeannine, I lost significant time with my son. My son comes home crying always of the treatment at his father's when he's with him. It truly is heartbreaking that the system would allow someone like Jeannine to impact a family ruling on custodial court discussions. And because I didn't have a real good attorney that could question Jeannine's behavior and recommendation to the court, I was forced to accept what was put in writing. Needless to say, I decided to fire my attorney for several incompetence displayed during my custody battle and chose not to pay Jeannine's ridiculous bill she sent over. JEANNINE IS NOT WORTH A PENNY! Funny thing is, my ex husband who Jeannine favored so much during the court process didn't think Jeannine is worth a penny either as he refused to pay as well the ridiculous bill she sent. After the court was over, I reached out to the Disciplinary Board to file a complaint against Jeannine but because Jeannine was assigned to my case as a GAL there was nothing they could do. In the future if I ever go to court again, I will be requesting for a different GAL. One that does work in the best interest of the child. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. But unfortunately you are required to give a star in order to leave a review. Jeannine is not only not worth your money or a star. I do not recommend Jeannine as a GAL.

Ted Hammel & Stacey!! I was recommended by friend. The best team there is out there!! If you’re shopping around, look no further! They helped me understand everything every step of the way and answering all my questions. After reviewing my case and videos he decided to do a bench trial and I believe was the best option in my case. Ted explained things so they were easily understanding and helped me learn some laws I didn’t even know existed. Going against the state was a very scary situation for me but he made me feel at ease knowing he knew exactly what he was talking about and knew how to fight for me so effortlessly. Best attorney I’ve ever met. Tried to have this guy get me a plea deal he refused. Fought the charges and won….

Absolutely unprofessional lawyer.Please do not waste time or money as well as opportunity on this lawyer.Did not show up for court twice on one occasion sending a rep that was highly misinformed about the case and did nothing for the case.Non responsive and did not even know the names of the children on the case 4 months in.Did not present evidence correctly or at all most times and cross examination was very short and not complete at all.This lawyer is not here for the client but for herself and money.The children involved dont matter to this lawyer and does not represent her clients professional,aggressively or in some cases at all so these reviews above are false and most likely from family members or employees of Jeannine Parker-Ross and falsely representing the lack of service you will receive.Ive had other lawyers and this lawyer is definitely not professional.Waste your money if you would like but I suggest finding any other option than this lawyer.

After a 5 hour trip to Will county for court she did not inform me or the court that it was cancelled, yet my ex knew not to come. Failed to tell me the ex also filed a separate motion. Horrible communication, nobody willing to help with the money i lost on account of their error as of now. Couldn't even answer a sinple question i had. Look elsewhere if you need help with anything involving court.

Janine Parker Ross was my sons GAL for a custody hearing to move him to California. The Joliet courthouse decided this in one months time over Christmas. My son is currently in the hospital broken from head to toe with serious injuries from falling off a four-story building. After the courts decided to have him move even though he told Janine that he did not want to move she was leading him to move to California she was not acting as my son’s attorney. I am so grateful that my son is alive but the court system and Joliet failed him and Janine Parker Ross failed my son to. I would think twice before you ever hire this attorney. I think the world should know about the court system and how things work because it’s not fair and it’s usually rigged and it’s based on things that should be based on.

Was required to use Jeannine as a gal in my sons case. Never would I use her services again or ever advise anyone. I watched physical abuse against myself get covered up even with photographic evidence. Also felony perjury. I watched my sons mother get a free pass in falsifying murder accusations which were reported back by dcfs to myself and Jeannine that the mother was attempting to file them with police maliciously to keep myself from the child. Instantly unfounded by dcfs and reported as such. Instead none of this was even spoken of or reported to the courts. Not sure if it’s cause my sons mother shared a office space with her or what but it’s something that would make the twilight zone look normal. I would strongly advise for the sake of the children to use someone else.

Not saying I go to court alot for traffic but when I do Ted Hammel is amazing and has the best assistant in the world so with that being said a big shout out to you as well Stacey you guys are the best law team.

I was referred to him by a court reporter friend and it was the BEST referral I've had in my life! Ted has been my family's lawyer for just about everything and he has not disappointed! You can't go wrong with him! I would definitely recommend him! Thank me later!

I have used Ted on two seperate occasions. Both had great results. Ted knows the courts well and will make you feel comfortable. Ted is a straight forward Attorney. Please consider using Ted if need be.
