In 2012, I experienced the deaths of my mother, sister and 3 life-long friends. My house was under contract for sale with a closing date scheduled in Nov. 2012. Regretfully, the mortgagee refused to approve a short sale, modification nor accept a deed-in-lieu. All of my efforts to work with Chase, HUD, Mortgage Operation Hope and the Consumer Financial Protection Agency, and other non-for-profit mortgage assistance entities were fruitless. Chase filed a foreclosure suit in December, 2012. I was devastated and the stress was overwhelming. I was referred to several law firms and the first thing they mentioned was a monthly fee without evaluating my file. Then a ray of hope, the office of David M. Siegel & Associates. First, they asked to review my loan file and within 24 hours I met with David Siegel & Patrick Cramer to discuss my legal options. They provided insight about foreclosure in an honest, open, and frank manner. My case has been handled with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism. “If you have been told that it cannot be done,” allow Mr. Siegel an opportunity. He will prove the others wrong. After phoning several attorneys, and providing them with my information over the phone, they immediately responded, you would not qualify for a Chapter 7. Yet I was buried in debt. Mr. Siegel took the time to look at the overall picture before responding, and thanks to Mr. Siegel and his staff, I am no longer buried in debt! (A HAPPY CLIENT!)

I had a lot of debt and didn't know what to do. A friend of mine told me about David Siegel. At my first appointment, I met with David and he described exactly how he could help me. I decided to file for Chapter 7 to get a total fresh start. The payment plan offered was really cool, but I decided to just pay in full (because it was something that I could afford with making payments). I am also going to give back a car that I no longer need or want. I would recommend David to anyone that is in debt. He really knows how to make you feel comfortable with a bankruptcy situation.
