This place has been the worst attorney anyone can get. They messed my WHOLE case up for my child and I had a phone conference today and PATRICK never called me to fix mistakes he made!! I would try anyone else but this place.

I would rate zero stars if i could. So this was a couple years ago, but didnt get to write a review, til now but I paid her upfront in full, But everytime I went to meet her she had to ask what I was there for? (3 Times) Then when the time came for the hearings, The first hearing she didn't have all the paperwork so it had to be rescheduled the second hearing was made incorrectly again so again rescheduled so by the 3rd time it was too late for the timeline for what I needed done. SO A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. I do not recommend at all. Never will use her or any firm associated with her. Not professional, and not organized, never ever contacted me for anything, updates or anything. She cost me this case. I can not believe that any lawyer would not know their clients or why they're there.. Dont you have a secretary that tells you these things before i show up? Was so angry about it and years after I still am angry about it. This is the worst lawyer I have ever had to deal with ever. I don't know how she is still in practice showing up to hearings looking like she partied til 4 a.m. Don't waste your money if you want to win your case.

The secretary was very rude and acted like she was an attorney herself and basically did not want me to make an appointment!!!

As my opposing counsels attorney, I’m loving all the time he’s wasting for the judge and myself. Let alone the screw ups on the time and not having names right on paperwork. Definitely making my case easier for me. Dragging this out for over an year……

O’Brien Never responds, always away from office. Secretary never in as well. And always looking to settle will never put up a fight for defendants. Terrible communication and will play you at court like he just doesn’t know anything. If you’re looking for a statue lawyer he’s your guy

contacted kimberly Donald's office about 3 weeks ago asked for a meeting to discuss my case they set one up for 2 weeks later. They called on thursday last week and said phone meeting for Wednesday this week was canceled and she could do it that friday of that week which was the next day. Never recieved a phone call Friday. Called monday to ask why and never recieved a call back. Wednesday came and no phone call at original meeting time. Glad I havent given her my money yet. Very poor communication and effort.

KIM DONALD IS THE ACE UP YOUR SLEEVE WHEN THE DECK IS STACKED AGAINST YOU Kimberly Donald helped me when I was illegally arrested after a wrongful warrant was issued against me in Kankakee, IL (April 2021) Kim was very effective in almost instantly getting the charges dropped by quickly getting to the bottom of the blatant improper actions by The Kankakee Sheriffs Department and The Sates Attorney's Office of Kankakee County by issuing a warrant for MY arrest. If anyone had actually looked it was obvious that I was not the person they were looking for. The description of the perpetrator in the Kankakee Sheriffs report was one of an African American male between the ages of 22 and 28 and I am a 47 year old white male. This warrant for my arrest was for Car Jacking and Aggravated Battery with a Firearm (pistol whipping). Kim Donald had the charges not only dropped but also sealed and was very helpful in helping my civil rights attorney build a civil suite against Kankakee County and Kankakee Sheriffs Department for gross negligence and wrongful incarceration and violations of my civil rights. I was also made to post $10,700 bond to get out of jail. Kim Donald was instrumental in getting that money returned to me fast (within one week). Kim then helped me to get a copy of the court reporter transcript for the purposes of building a civil case for wrongful incarceration as well as for my pain and suffering. After my wrongful incarceration my son was taken from me by his mother because she was scared that our son would be put in Foster Care by DCFS because of the seriousness of the crime of which I was arrested. Kim then directed me to a great Family Attorney in Chicago (where I live) and has kept in contact with me with moral support in the hopes of me reuniting with my 4 year old little boy after over 9 months of not seeing him. On top of all her help Kim Donald then refused to charge me for her legal services because in her words "you shouldn't have to pay for this gross misjustice by Kankakee County to you and your family". I recommend Kim Donald whole heartedly as not only a great attorney, but a thoughtful and kind human being.
