I hired Daniel to assist me with purchasing a home based on positive reviews I had read. However, after working with him, I found those reviews to be inaccurate. Initially, he was responsive and communicative in the weeks leading up to the scheduled closing. But once a closing date was set, his responsiveness dropped significantly. My calls went to voicemail, and my messages often weren't answered until the following day. For instance, when I called him on Friday to confirm our closing scheduled for Tuesday at 9 AM, he said it wouldn't happen because he hadn't received the necessary documents, despite everything being approved. When I contacted him again on Monday, he informed me that Tuesday was no longer an option. As I tried to discuss the situation, he became irritated with my questions, even threatening to cancel everything just one day before closing. The closing was eventually rescheduled for two days later, and Daniel initially said he would meet me there, but the next day, he informed me that he wouldn't be attending in person and would handle it remotely instead.

Dan was vey helpful after my brother passed suddenly with no will and we needed to sell his Palatine condo quickly. Dan helped us find a local realtor and a probate attorney. Then once we had the authority to sell, Dan was instrumental in closing the sale in under three weeks!

Daniel Levy made the whole process very smooth for me. I recently purchased my first home, he was patient, understanding, explaining me in details the process. Daniel is very professional, would be always answer in a timely matter, and would fight for his clients. I had a great experience with him, and highly recommend him if you need to sell or purchase a home.

Dan and his team did a terrific job at taking care of everything in support of my elderly parents (85 and 80 years old) selling their condo. Dan dealt with the buyer and buyer representatives so my parents did not have to do so. He advised us of the specific steps we needed to take to complete the sale with our local government as well. Best of all Dan was empathetic and compassionate in dealing with my parents as they needed some guidance to complete the closing; which we did in their new residence. In short Dan was a great seller's attorney and I recommend him highly!

We recently bought a home in a private sale. We purchased the house directly from an estate following the owner's death. Daniel managed the transaction from our side, and worked directly with the seller's attorney. Daniel was knowledgable, professional and prompt in answering all my emails, phone calls and text messages. He was skillful in managing the negotiations and helped us get a lower final purchase price than we expected. He saved us money and made the process as smooth as possible. I would absolutely use his services again.

Daniel was very thorough in preparing me for each step leading up to my closing date. This made the closing process seamless. He also saved me money during my closing by identifying some miscalculated information. He definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend his services to anyone buying a home.

We have used Dan several times during our time in the area mainly for real estate transactions and estate planning (will/trust). Every time, Dan has taken care of us with a high degree of competence and professionality. I highly recommend his services.

I hired Dan when selling my condo in Des Plaines. He made the closing really easy. He has a great personality. He's very responsive and his office location is very convenient (right off of 294). I am looking forward to working with him again when I purchase my next home.

I have used Dan for my cousin and my aunt with regards to estate planning. My cousin was dying and he was the only person with power of attorney for my aunt. Dan setup a trust so that I could take care of my aunt after my cousin passed. This worked out perfectly. Also, I had to sell a condo and purchase another one in a different state for my aunt - Dan helped with this as well by reviewing all of the documentation for the sale and the purchase. When I finally had to sell the 2nd condo after my aunt passed, Dan was there for that as well.

My wife and I used Daniel E. Levy to represent us as buyers in a home purchase and were very satisfied with his work. One of the things I like most about Dan is that he is reachable. When you send an email he responds promptly. When I would call the office (rarely- I'm a Millennial!) he would answer. If you've bought/sold real estate before you know that everything happens FAST during the contracting process so having an attorney you can count on to respond quickly gives tremendous peace of mind. Dan handled all of the routine paperwork like the contract without any issues. When issues arose with the home inspection, he was our strong advocate and got us compensation for the issues found. When we came to closing and there were still some unresolved issues from the inspection, he secured us a lump sum payment to hire contractors to fix the unresolved issues. He was strong, firm and determined to get us what we deserved. We were more than satisfied with Dan Levy and he will be our attorney as long as we're living in Chicagoland. I will not hesitate to call him any time the need arises. In fact, we're planning to use Dan for our will/trust.
