I highly recommend Valerie to anyone in need of a family law attorney. She is not only incredibly knowledgable, she is fierce and confident, yet kind, patient, and understanding. She knows what she is doing and never for one second did I feel worried while my case was in her hands. I interviewed several family law attorneys, and will continue to utilize her for any legal needs pertaining to my divorce/custody issues. I recently worked with Valerie Steiner and could not recommend her more highly! I am a lawyer myself, so I feel like I have relatively high standards, and Valerie exceeded them. She gave smart and practical advice, was approachable when I had questions, and was extremely responsive and timely with deliverables. The work came in under the estimate she originally gave, so she's definitely respectful of her clients' money.

Valerie is the ultimate professional. She goes above and beyond the 'specifics' of a divorce, (which, of course, she does extremely well) but, she is also genuinely compassionate, enabling her to see the 'big picture.' I would highly recommend her!

I hired Valerie for a very difficult and stressful case involving not only DCFS but we also needed a GAL. Throughout the case, she was extremely helpful and was always available to communicate. I have never had a lawyer previously that would be so quick to respond to my emails, no matter what day or time. I never had any doubts as to how hard she worked on my case and it showed in the timely manner in which it was resolved. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a awesome family attorney.
