We worked with Timothy Johnston to understand the parameters of our minor son working as an independent contractor, and with Michael Goldberg to update our wills and trust and to appeal our property taxes. In all cases, our time was respected and the work was completed quickly with successful outcomes. Bonus: they work with Hyatt Legal Plans, and that process was seamless.

We met with Michael Goldberg to get our estate planning in place. He was very professional, asking all the right questions, while guiding us through the process. He was patient, friendly, knowledgeable and has a GREAT sense of humor. We participate in the Hyatt Legal Services through our employer and I was concerned this might affect the service and/or attitude of the attorney. Nothing could be farther from the truth. My husband and I bought a used car from a lot in Waukegan (Fortune Motor Group). I know, first thought is WHY... I can not really answer that question. (Will never, ever do that again!!) However, I can say if you need legal advice after making such a risky decision called Johnston, Tomei, Lenczycki, & Goldberg LLC. We were referred by another lawyer David Kahn (Kahn & Kahn) out of Libertyville who are also very good. Although, we did not retain any services from Mr. Tomei. He took the time to explain our rights as buyers and what we were entitled to. We very much appreciated his help! In the future, we will make smart decisions but it is nice to know there are people who care and will help. Bonus, when they don't ask for any compensation. If we should file a complaint, my husband and I would definitely use this law firm. Thanks again!

Tim is a wonderful lawyer and I am very fortunate to have worked with him. Our neighbors tried to oppress us by trying to give us unequal treatment and claiming a 40 year old document (abandoned from near inception) was still in effect. Worse, they were trying to ask us to take down a fence we lawfully put up that provided us security and prevented them from staring into our backyard. Upon taking the case to Tim, he gave us excellent advice and patiently answered the many many questions i had as i thought through every detail of my case. Furthermore, he made himself available, responded to emails and used a consultative approach when answering pleadings. The opposing party told many lies and through Tim's skillful deposition tactics, we brought all their deceit to light during the deposition. We were opposed by 1 neighbor on paper but the lawsuit was funded and had strong involvement from many other neighbors including at least 2 lawyers who acted in bad faith . Through the case, Tim held his resolve for justice and overcame 9 households including at least 1 consisting of lawyers + the attorney they hired. After almost 2 years of blood, sweat and tears, pouring through tons of case law, several phone calls and much much more, justice has prevailed and the law of the land has won. Not only did he win our case, but he did so at a Motion for Summary Judgement where few motions are granted. Working with Tim and has wonderful assistant Melissa could not have been any better and Mr Johnston is the very embodiment of a True American and American Values. Long Live Justice!
