I was able to get into what in my mind was an urgent appointment based on changes in my vision. My primary PCP contacted the office, explained what was happening and Dr. Lam and team were able to get me an appointment the same day. From the moment I arrived the staff put me at ease with my concerns. The medical tech walked me through some testing and Dr. Lam explained to me what was happening and calmed some of my worries. The team has also suggested an additional specialist and is making the connection on my behalf to expedite the process. I would recommend the team at DuPage Ophthalmology and Dr. Lam for your eye care needs.

Dr. Lam has been my ophthalmologist for more than 30 years. Although we moved to northcentral Illinois 25 years ago, we readily make the drive to see him as needed. My family and I have all benefited from Dr. Lam's knowledge, ability, kindness and consideration.

Dr. Lam is though and his explanations are easy to understand. Janet did the eye measurements for cataracts and I was impressed with her professionalism and skill.

Dr Lam has done cataract surgery on my mother, mother in law, and father in law. He did the same for me twice! He helped save my eyesight when I had a retina detach, and guided me to a very competent surgeon, thus saving my sight. I stopped in yesterday to see if he could see me on an "emergency possible" basis, and the staff was quick to get me in and have Dr Lam look at my eye issue. He prescribed meds for the infection I developed, and was as always very caring, and professional. Soft spoken, with a powerful knowledge of his profession. HIGHLY recommended!!

I have been seeing Dr. Lam for more than 20 years. He is so kind and caring. He did my Cataract surgeries with no problems, thankfully.
