Rick seeks a fair and just outcome. He encouraged us to be reasonable with our custody demands and helped to make sure that the children’s best interests were considered in the outcome. The end result was so much better than we expected.

Attorney Richard R. Rodriguez is an experienced attorney. For my foreclosure defense case, he covers every perspective and does not give up. He researches laws and writes smart briefs and argues well. It has been years. He is ethical. He protects my rights. He is well respected in courts, too. He cares about his clients and provides comprehensive advice. I have had him for years. He is very reliable. He is a nice person, as well. He is very smart and thinks and analyzes well. Being an experienced attorney, his memorandum submitted to court is tailored to my situation. Hire him. You will not be disappointed. When my ideas and thoughts are not always correct, he politely but being straight to explain to me where I was wrong. He does not impose his will on me and always explains why he suggests and takes certain actions. When I had problems in other areas of my life, he offers advice with reasonable charges. I cannot say enough good about him. This is an ethical and competent attorney.

Richard Rodriguez, as my attorney, failed to communicate with me. I received his name from my girlfriend that used his office. I was not informed of what my legal rights were from being married 25 years. The divorce took almost two years and all my savings. Was told that I would have to pay part of the mortgage on the primary residence that we owned together and where my ex-husband lived until someday it sold. Their was never a time frame for selling the house. My attorney never prepared a QDRO for me. My ex-husband's attorney filed a QDRO for his client resulting in a disbursement freeze on my 401K. Because my attorney never prepared a QDRO on my behalf, my ex-husband has since moved almost all of his money out of his 401K account. It's 2014 and I will need to hire an attorney to finish what was not accomplished in 2012.

I worked with him (and of course his firm). The experience was OK, he was definitely competent and knew what he was doing. The only complaint that I have, and it may very well be justified, that the final tally of the cost of the engagement came out to be 40% higher than what he initially estimated (and took the retainer for).
