I hired Mr. Schaffer after firing my first lawyer. My only regret was not hiring Mr. Schaffer in the first place. My divorce had been dragging on for a year already. My ex is a bully and my first lawyer was clearly intimidated by him. Not Mr. Schaffer. It is obvious that David cared about my case. He made sure I understood what was going on every step of the way. My first lawyer was just the opposite and made me feel like a number. It is clear that Mr. Schaffer enjoys what he does and knows what he is doing. I got more than half the assets as well as long term alimony. I would highly recommend David for anyone going through a divorce, especially if they are not happy with their current lawyer. I learned the hard way it is better to start with quality representation than a cheap lawyer.
